how it works
1: select + order your kit
Shop our store to select the finished size of your piece: Large or Mini. Both sizes use the same kit but the Mini is scaled to a smaller size (see above for examples). The purchase price includes the kit, our complete instruction and tips guide, professional scanning, casting and finishing of your Kid Jeweler creation, gift wrapping and shipping all ways. Everything you need to get making will be shipped to you within three business days of your order.
2: play + create
Your kit will contain two measured, soft wax slabs—one to play with and one for creating the final masterwork. Watch our “How To Make a Masterwork” video series with your future Kid Jeweler here for instructions, ideas and inspiration. Check out what other kids have created by visiting our gallery and Instagram. A printed guide to making is included in your kit and is also available here.
3: send back your masterwork
When your Kid Jeweler creation is done, place it carefully in its baggie and place the baggie inside the signature Kid Jeweler tin. Fill out the included care-card with any special notes for Kid Jeweler HQ and return both the card and tin to us using the provided prepaid label. We can’t wait to see what you made!
4: we work our magic
As soon as we receive your package, we will get to work transforming your Kid Jeweler creation into a one-of-a-kind, custom treasure according to your order and any special instructions. Every detail of your piece will be carefully reviewed to elevate and honor the design of the Kid Jeweler who made it. Our work will take up to six weeks to complete.*
* Need it in a rush? No problem! You can upgrade the priority of your piece in our queue at checkout.
5: we create possibility
We use state-of-the-art high resolution 3D digital scanning technology to refine and scale your unique Kid Jeweler design. This digital archive can be used to make unlimited multiples of your Kid Jeweler design in gold or silver in a range of sizes such as our beloved Mini. Whenever you need a meaningful gift for someone dear or should you accidentally lose your piece, we’ve got you covered.
6: adorn yourself + loved ones
Your custom piece will arrive beautifully wrapped and ready to gift. Be ready to be moved! We will also email you a certificate of completion for your Kid Jeweler so that they can take pride in their participation.
We also offer a discounted Kid Jeweler Mini Pendant in silver so you can gift your Kid Jeweler a piece of their own if you chose.
